Yes, I had to do it. If they deserve a thread on the Brand New board, they deserve one here.
What's the general consensus on this band? Like 'em? Love 'em? Hate 'em? Indifferent?
I'm on the Love 'em boat. They're my current favorite band... Agent M is my hero. She can play bass and write damn good lyrics. The Definitive Act proved to me that M is a very good at penning lyrics.

i don't think they sound anything alike.
ashley is awesome.
but what i've heard of agent m, i wasn't impressed at all. like, holy pows, she is irritating, not impressed.

I think it's the voice. Michelle's voice gets on my nerves a bit, too. Maybe it was just the demo stuff Buffy had... but I didn't like it much at all. I'm thinking we'll never agree on the subject of emo girl/angry punk girl music. |

I got my motherfuckin' Invasion From Within EP today.
I held the package in my hands and made a small sound of intense glee. Then I opend the package and stared in wonder at the cd. It's all pretty and new. It gave me a happy. A big one.
YAY TSUNAMI BOMB!

wow you really are obsessed with Tsunami Bomb, like i said on the BN board I've only heard one track by them but i liked it quite a lot, i could be tempted to look into them, ill try their website methinks. On the whole punk girl thing, i can tolerate it, i think any women in music is a good thing in some way, its too full of men and women can offer a different perspective on things, thats my wise words for the day.

ok just had a good old listen off purevolume.com and i have to say im pretty impressed, Take The Reins is better than i remember but im not so sure bout some of the other songs, nice voice but not something i'd go out of my way to purchase a copy of, unlike my precious Taking Back Sunday.....

I heart Tsunami Bomb. I think Agent M's good. She can sing really sweetly when she wants to, and she can also have a really big and powerful scream when the song calls for it. I have my shiny new "The Ultimate Escape" album by Tsunami Bomb now. The music on this disc gave me a bit of a happy after the goddamned boot-sector virus fucked my computer up.
