Hello NYC!

It's summer and summer RULES. We're on our way to a screening of Fantastic 4. It's our first time we've had a song in a film and we can't wait to see it. Did we mention Jessica Alba is in it?

So we're writing to say that we're excited to play with Weezer next week at Nassau and since it's a big arena rock show, we wanted to figure out a way to spend some time with you guys as well. Here's what we came up with:

Please join us Wednesday, July 13 at our friend's store for a little meet and greet and merch garage sale. Most of us will be there to hang out and help out with a swag sale that can't be beat. We're trying to clear some space from our online store and also offer up some newer merch at 'less than arena' prices if you get our drift. So please come by to visit on your way down or come hang out even if you aren't going to the show. It should be fun.

DATE: Wednesday, July 13, 2005
TIME: 1-3 PM
PLACE: Store _001 - 1824B Merrick Rd, Merrick NY 11566 - about 5 miles from Nassau Coliseum

It's across the street from McDonalds in Merrick, you know the one, near the Ices. It's the M9 East offramp of the Meadowbrook Parkway.

We hope you come, we'll stay as long as we can before soundcheck and there will be some great deals on all of our stuff and some freebies to boot!

buuuuuuuuuut those songs weren't actually in the film, were they? just on the soundtrack. at least, i didn't hear photograph in spiderman 2 {i didn't see elektra}. they actually play error operator in fantastic 4.

why would they put a song on the soundtrack that isnt in the movie? thats weird, i didnt know they did that. i havent seen either of those movies so maybe i'll rent them soon and see what the deal is

ya that makes sense. they basically already had the music completed when approached and just made the lyrics after.
