Recently, Denny’s All Nighter has launched the second instalment of their Rockstar Menu project which features items created Boys Like Girls, as well as Taking Back Sunday, Hoobastank and Katy Perry.
The purpose of this project is to provide touring bands with free meals while on the road (i.e.
The Cab, Four Year Strong and more…), letting 7 smaller bands compete to be “adopted” based on readers’ votes.
The items created by the featured artists include Boys Like Girls’ ‘The Great Eggsteak’, which was inspired by their single, “The Great Escape” and is a fresh take on a roast beef sandwich, adding peppers and onions, pepper jack cheese, scrambled egg and spicy mayonnaise all on a sourdough bread bun, served with hash browns; Katy Perry’s “Hot N Cold Cherry Chocolate Cappuccino”, a multi-layered concoction that included cherries, vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, French vanilla cappuccino and whipped cream with a cherry on top; and Hoobastank`s “Hooburrito” made up of crispy chicken strips, pepper jack cheese and onion crispers, all wrapped in a warm tortilla.
In support of this project, CONFRONT Magazine would like to know what your Rockstar Menu item would be should you be a featured artist.
