Decade Under the Influence is on the radio just about every time I turn the damned thing on.

What do you think about the band's increased airplay? Especially since it's the sophomore effort, sans good ole Johnny Boy...

I say increased because before Where You Want to Be dropped, I'd never heard TBS on the radio... at least in this area.

they never play it on the radio here... but that's because it's all alternative ALL THE FUCKING TIME.

It's on the pop stations here... like CIL and The X. It would never grace any of the other stations. Well, maybe KISSFM, but I never listen to that shitty station.

I'll have to admit I agree. I do like the newer TBS stuff more than the older... so maybe you're right about the split being for the best.

You're not missing much. The band of the moment on that station is Jet. I can't fucking stand Jet. I like them even less than I like [comment deleted to protect the innocent].

Jet's pretty much a British AC/DC cover band. Oh wait, they don't cover AC/DC. Just rip them off. Cold Hard Bitch and Stiff Upper Lip sound exactly the same. If you don't know any better, you'll mistake Cold Hard Bitch for Stiff Upper Lip.

I think that's cheap.

kroc has improved a lot this year they play a much cooler mix, Howard just needs to move so i can have a New York rock morning show i have to listen to a jersey rock station for my music in the morning

They used to play Cute Without The 'E' a lot here, that's how I got into TBS in the first place. I don't really hear A Decade anymore, but that's because I don't listen to the radio as much as I used to.

i think that tayf owns wywtb...but the sophmore effort is still fairly decent

besides, i think TBS deserve the recognition... as long as they're not playing them at middle school dances, and the preps aren't walking down the halls singing decade all the time. meh.

loads of people on other boards comment on the loads of airplay that the certain band get, but i never seem to hear them...
