Brand New's Jesse Lacey ripping on TBS!!!?

At the 6/21/2006 Brand New concert at the Theater of Living Arts in Philadelphia, Brand New's lead vocalist and guitarist Jesse Lacey made several comments about Adam Lazzara and Taking Back Sunday. One fan shouted "Taking Back Sunday!" at a random point in time and Lacey responded, "You guys dont even know what your looking at when you watch them, traitor." Also
he commented, "Notice im singing with my microphone, not swinging it." Has anyone else been to a Brand New or Taking Back Sunday show where comments have been made about one another. I think most people that are into this music know about the story between Brand New's Jesse Lacey and Taking Back Sunday's old guitarist John Nolan: Best friends growing up, John got caught cheating with Lacey's girlfriend which turned out to be terrible. Nolan talked to Lacey on the phone and Lacey ended the call quickly with "you're about as subtle as a brick in the small of my back, so let's end this call, and end this conversation." Lacey went on to write 'Seventy times 7' containing those lyrics in the bridge, which was about the whole scenario. Nolan and TBS followed up with "There's no 'I' in Team" as if telling Lacey to get over it. Which ever side you are on, they are both excellent musical artists and wouldn't we all love to see them tour together like they did in 2002!? I doubt that will happen. Isn't it rumoured to be the whole Adam and Michelle thing? I dont know if that even happened.

I think now the whole argument thing is "something for the fans", and the whole "Notice im singing with my microphone, not swinging it." thing might have become a joke between the 2 bands because one of the brand new logos is " Brand New...because mics are for singing, not for swinging"

omg jesse has no life--i mean really---if he is going to rag on anybody in TBS it should be John--leave adam alone he hasn't done anything--and they whole "notice how im signing with my microphone, not swinging it" crap...that microphone swinging is practically what makes adam...ADAM--so jesse should definately back off an dstop making a fool of himself--- i've actually listened 2 a few Brand New songs....im an OBSESSED tbs fan and have loved them since the beginning but i do have 2 admit that brand new is pretty good-----i've been trying 2 convince myself not 2 like them but when u come across good music and good lyrics u gotta like it-----

brand new are an amazing band yes, but taking back sunday will always shit all over them dispite what anybody says.
