Why do I deserve to be kicked? I ran a test. I let Allie listen to Decade Under the Influence and then Cute Without the E, and she said Decade is the better song. Hrm... Maybe I should make her listen again and have her focus on the screaming dudes.

I also noticed that Fred's voice doesn't crack like John's does. Is that John's thing? For his voice to crack sometimes? Some singers have a gimmick... like Adam and his mic swinging.... Chester and his throaty growl/scream/monkey jump.... Or is it just something that happens and he can't help? Or is it just something that happens in Cute Without the E a lot? I think I remember it happening in those few Straylight Run demos I heard, too.

I'll agree with that. Allie said, "His voice cracks because his emo ovaries are getting in the way of his balls dropping." She's a Fred fan. I guess. She's only heard Decade and Cute Without the E, though.

I picked Fred without even thinking. Kind of like, "Duhhello?!" But now I feel like an asshole for it. I <3 you John; you just belong in Straylight Run more because you + Adam = not meant to be.

Hehe like the equation, gr8 way to sum up the whole situation. For me it has to be John, purely because his voice is amazing and his lyrics are just.....untouchable.

I chose Fred without really thinking. It's nothing against John; Straylight Run is brilliant and awesome and fantasmic and all. I just like TBS with Fred. And Straylight Run seems right. *nods*

And Straylight Run seems right. *nods* TBS is better with Fred. This is coming from someone who used to absolutely LOATHE TBS. I thought maybe I'd like some old stuff... listened, hated. Gave more new stuff a chance, liked it more. So... TBSwise Fred > John. I can't really say anything about Straylight Run and John, because all I have to go on is the old TBS I didn't care for, and the crappy SR demos I've heard a few times. SR will be given their chance when the cd comes out.

Well i personally love Johns lyrics, the first time i heard the new tbs lyrics i was very unimpressed but Freds alright now. The lyrics aren't as as good but Fred is vocally a bit better but stray light run is great

The lyrics aren't as as good but Fred is vocally a bit better but stray light run is great John can write good lyrics, I won't contest that. I won't talk about Straylight Run's "greatness" either. I will say that I do agree Fred's vocals > John's.

actually John is probably more vocally diverse as proven in slr really But i do't think the role he served in tbs was right fit for him
